From the drafting of simple wills and powers of attorney to the creation, funding, and administration of complex trusts, our experienced staff will work closely with you to create flexible estate plans. Our estate planning specialists are experts in all aspects of the estate planning process including Wills, Trusts, Advanced Directives and Probate Administration and Probate Avoidance.
We can advise and provide wills, trusts, powers of attorneys for health care and finances as well as proper probate administration and avoidance measures. We are experts at establishing and executing all manner of trusts including revocable and irrevocable trusts, special trust and testamentary trusts.
Special Needs Trust
A Special Needs Trust (sometimes called a Supplemental Needs Trust, or SNT) is a specialized legal document designed to benefit an individual who has a disability. Our professionals can advise you as to the creation and implementation of a Supplemental Needs Trust during lifetime or as apart of Last Will and Testament.
A Special Needs Trust enables a person under physical or mental disability, or an individual with a chronic or acquired illness, to have, held in Trust for his or her benefit, an unlimited amount of assets. In a properly-drafted SNT, those assets are not considered countable assets for purposes of qualification for certain governmental benefits.
Advance Planning
Proactive and preventative measures will save time, money, and frustration in the future. Our Advance Planning services include drafting living wills, establishing power of attorney for healthcare related issues as well as power of attorney for financial matters.
Retirement Planning
Lifetime distribution planning, disposition at death, and change of residency planning.
Contested Matters
Representation for estate contests including wills, guardianship, and trust litigation.
Estate Planning is, for many, a sensitive manner. We recognize this and work clearly and closely with our clients to ensure they understand each step of the process. We work as client advocates and always have our client’s best interests at heart and strive to provide expert legal advice in a professional, yet personable fashion.
